Attire

Given that our guests come from many different cultures, we've created this space to help our guests plan their attire for each of our wedding's events.

Special Note: Oakleaf Cottage is a woodland haven that is very much nestled in the woods. While the barn has a poured floor, many other surfaces outdoors are raw forest floor or gravel, please choose shoes with this in mind.

Indian Casual

Smart Casual

Smart casual means wedding guests are being asked to dress neatly, without being overly dressy – or overly casual. We recommend a dress, smart trousers or a skirt for women and dark denim, chinos or suit paints with a neat shirt for men.

Indian Formal

American Formal

Men should wear a dark suit with a shirt and tie if they don’t wish to wear a tuxedo. Women may wear a floor-length gown, or a knee-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates
